ACCOMMODATION:- Sitting room, Kitchen/dining room, Utility room, Bedroom 1 with a 5ft King size bed, Bedroom 2 with a 5ft King Size bed, Bedroom 3 with two 3ft beds, Bedroom 4 with two 2ft 6in beds. Bathroom 1 with a bath and shower cubicle, W.C. & hand basin, Bathroom 2 with a bath & shower over, W.C. & hand basin. Cloakroom with W.C. and hand basin.
Carne Mill has been beautifully restored and is situated at the head of the beautiful Gillan Creek, in a haven of tranquility right on the water's edge. The original mill wheel can still be seen, incorporated into the patio area at the rear. The mill has it's own tidal quay and extensive gardens and woodlands, all beautifully kept with a pretty stream running through the grounds and spectacular views of the creek.
The village of Manaccan can be reached through the Mill's own woodlands and is only a 10 minute walk away. Manaccan has a thatched pub, a Bistro and a village store and Post Office. Approximately a mile down the lane, which runs beside the creek, is St Anthony where boats can be hired and moorings and boat trailer storage can be arranged.
The accommodation is arranged as follows:- Steps up to front door. Hallway. Sitting room with comfy furniture, a log burner, flat screen TV with Free Sat, a DVD & music centre. Creek views.
Inner hallway. Cloakroom with W.C. and hand basin. Utility room with large fridge-freezer, wine cooler cabinet, sink, cupboards housing a range of picnic ware for outside use, automatic washing machine.
Stairs down from the inner hallway lead into the Kitchen/Dining room with full range of units, large electric range cooker, microwave, small fridge, dishwasher, flat screen TV, telephone. Door to front of house. Dining area with pine table and chairs. Creek views.
Stairs to next level. Twin bedded room with two 3ft single beds. Creek views. Bathroom with bath & shower over, W.C. and hand basin, heated towel rail. Door to rear of property. Double bedroom with 5ft King size bed. Creek Views.
Stairs to next level. Twin bedded room with two 2ft 6in beds. Garden views. Bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle, W.C. and hand basin, heated towel rail. Double bedded room with 5ft King size bed, telephone, door to balcony & access by steps down to the rear garden. Creek Views.
Outside. Door from the utility room takes you to the patio area. Steps up to patio area with garden table (chairs are kept beneath the outside staircase and the seat cushions are in the utility room). Gas BBQ. Gardens are laid to lawn with shrubs, a vegetable garden, lower lawned area with fruit trees. The garden leads into woodland.
Please note there is a drop of about 4ft from the lawn to the stream at the front of the property.
There are two extending clothes lines at the back of the house. Towels, tea towels and a cot and high chair are supplied. Oil fired central heating, electricity and bed linen is included in the cost.
Parking for six cars. No pets and no smoking.
