Carne Mill (the house) can be booked without the flat if required, but the flat can only be booked with the main house. (The flat is not let separately)

ACCOMMODATION Carne Mill: Bedroom 1 with 5ft bed, Bedroom 2 with two x 3ft beds, Bedroom 3 with two zip-together 3ft beds (which can be made into a large 6ft bed), Bedroom 4 with one 3ft single bed. Two Bathrooms, Kitchen, Sitting Room, Dining Room and Conservatory.

ACCOMMODATION Carne Mill Flat (Only available to rent with the main house, NOT on its own): Hallway, Bedroom 1 with double bed, Bedroom 2 with two single beds, bathroom with bath and shower over, Sitting Room, Kitchen.

Carne Mill is situated at the head of the beautiful Gillan Creek, in a haven of tranquility right on the water's edge. The original mill wheel can still be seen, as can the remains of the overshot leat. The mill has it's own tidal quay and extensive gardens and woodlands, all beautifully kept with a pretty stream running through the grounds and spectacular views of the creek. The village of Manaccan can be reached through the Mill's own woodlands and is only a 10 minute walk away. Manaccan has a thatched pub and a good village store and Post Office. Approximately a mile down the lane, which runs beside the creek, is St Anthony where boats can be hired and moorings and boat trailer storage can be arranged.

The accommodation in the main house is arranged as follows:- Kitchen with quarry tiled floor, microwave, electric cooker, fridge, freezer, automatic washing machine and dishwasher. Dining room with table and chairs and pay phone. Sitting room with comfortable furniture, TV and video and door to Conservatory with cane furniture.

There are two sets of stairs to the upper floor, the one off the kitchen leads to a bedroom with a 5ft double bed and hand basin. A further bedroom with two 3ft beds and hand basin and a bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and W.C. A door from the landing leads to the back garden with a rotary clothes line.

The second staircase leads from the sitting room up to a landing with bathroom having bath, hand basin and W.C. Stairs up to a bedroom with two 3ft single beds and a single bedroom with one 3ft bed and a hand basin.

There are beautiful creekside views from most of the rooms and the gardens are laid to lawn with shrubs and there is a bridge over the stream. There is garden furniture and a BBQ and parking for 4 cars. There is part night storage heating. Tea towels, electricity and bed linen are included in the cost but guests should bring towels for personal use. There is no smoking and no pets (though the owners occasionally bring a cat to the property, which may be worth noting for allergy sufferers).

Carne Mill Flat (available to rent only with the main house) has steps up to the front door. There is a hallway, double bedroom and twin bedroom, plus a kitchen, sitting/dining room and bathroom with bath and shower over, hand basin and W.C. There are amazing views over the creek from the sitting room and garden views from the main bedroom.

Night storage heating, electricity and bed linen is included in the price.
